Does anyone have a solution or idea on how to fix this? The GOG version did not have this file and while I did copy and paste it into the GOG version, it did not fix the problem. However I noticed that Steam version had a file in the base folder (located in the GameData folder) called jk2config.cfg which I am assuming is the required file for the singleplayer. Also I have this game on Steam and out of curiosity I installed it and it ran without any problems at all. The portable versions should only be used by experienced users.
